After checking the National Park website for tickets (most tour tickets online were sold out). We drove over just to explore and tour the Visitor Venter. The basic tour doesn't even show up on their website. We chose the basic tour at 1hr 15 minutes.
A lot of history in the cave. 400 miles that are mapped so far. They are still mapping and discovering more or the cave. The cave is a constant 55 degrees year round. Mammoth is a dry cave so there are no formations. There are several other tours available.
