Drove from Cave City, KY to Angola, IN which is about 10 miles from the Michigan border. We had the choice between a Jellystone Park or Buck Lake Ranch. $60 vs $25 per night. No brainer.
Buck Lake Ranch is on 75 acres with it's own private lake. Most sites are permanent. The park has been here since 1947. The office area and surrounding buildings has a western town theme. Well done too. A wide variety of Nashville acts have played here over the years, most when they were just starting out.
We had to extend our time here by an extra day due to some extreme weather in Michigan. Central Michigan had 100 mph winds and severe storm damage.
Off to Michigan today.
