We left MSP at 6 AM. The route we decided on was 94 east to US39 south and then south on US74 to Indianapolis, Indiana. There was SO much road construction on 39 and 74 that it slowed our travel down. Many areas went from 65mph to 55mph and down to single lanes at 45mph. We have a suspicion that we'll see more construction all the way to Florida.
We're spending the night at a KOA in Crawfordsville, In. Probably won't make Florida tomorrow. Another day and a half of driving. But its like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, when she took the first step on the yellow brick road.
