We met at Doug and Vickie's and walked the few blocks to the beach.. Some gourmet subs, some wine and a Key Lime pie made for a good dinner on the beach.

Dinner on the beach
Siesta Key beach has been nominated many times for 'Best sand beach' and other awards. The sand is 99% pure quartz sand. It is very soft and easy on the feet. It also has some of the finest sunsets. Once the sun hits the horizon it is a matter of seconds before it disappears. Due to inconsiderate people in the past, no pets are allowed on the beach as well as no smoking. Fines for both.
