Another summer has passed us by. The leaves have fallen from the trees and the southern siren calls. When the night time temps start dropping below freezing it's time to heed the call.
Today was perfect driving weather to be heading south. Straight south to Montgomery City, MO. It's about 65 miles west of St Louis, on I-70. Our first overnight stop is at Kan-Do Campground. They are open all year round but at this time of the year the water is shut off for the season. All we need is some power for the lights and TV. The last time we were at this campground there was 6" of white slush on the ground. Not this time, 70 degrees and sunny.
Next stop, Adairsville, GA.
