We are across the Manatee River from downtown Bradenton but it is a 8 mile drive to get to the new Riverwalk. The River Walk just opened in October. The total cost was $6.2 million for 1.5 miles.
The River Walk has attractions for everybody in the family. Play areas for the little kids, a fishing pier and daydock for the big kids. There is also a huge skate park, kayak launch beach volleyball, tidal discovery zone and an 'outdoor living room'.
