Duluth, Mn

Duluth has always been a favorite summer destination. While traveling with the family, we found an ideal RV park at Lakehead Boat Basin http://www.lakeheadboatbasin.com/rv.html It is located three blocks from Canal Park and 10 blocks from downtown Duluth. Full hook-ups are available as well as S/W. Daily and weekly rates.

We visited here in the past for Octoberfest and 4th of July. A great location for viewing the fireworks in the bay.

If you are heading north from the Twin Cities, no trip is complete without stopping at Tobies in Hinckley for their famous caramel rolls.
We ordered a half a tray, LOL.

If you get bored with the Interstate, exit on Hwy 23 east. It's a scenic drive through some small towns like Askov, Bruno, Nickerson and Holyoke. You can get back on I35 just before Duluth.
