We left Gadsden, AL and headed NW on Hwy 278. It's a two lane road that rolls through central Alabama. In Cullman, AL you can catch I-65 which goes south to Birmingham or north to Nashville, Tn.
We continued NW on Hwy 167 which is four lanes . Speeds vary as it goes through some small towns. 167 turns into Hwy 72 and continues west through northern Mississippi.
We arrived in Memphis late afternoon. Graceland has it's own Good Sam RV park. Walking distance to the attractions.
We had dinner at the Rock & Roll Cafe and spotted Elvis. Later on he did 2 1/2 hr show as a tribute to Elvis. One of the better singers doing Elvis. Elvis' first cousin was in the audience.
