Pirate Ship Cruise

We departed Port Isabel aboard the Black Dragon.

 The Black Dragon is a replica of a 17th century galleon. It is 75' long with a beam of 20'. The tallest mast is about 57' above the water line. It weighs almost 80 tons and cruises at 8 knots which is equal to 9.2 mph. Top speed is 12 knots or 13.8 mph.

It is US Coast Guard approved for about 125 people. The state of the art electronics include radar, a gps system and sonar.
